This educational workshop is for individuals who are turning 65 or are nearing their initial Medicare enrollment period. The objective is to provide a clear understanding of Medicare options, simplifying the process of enrolling and choosing the right plan for your needs.
This is also for folks who may be already enrolled in Medicare but may have questions. Medicare options change often. If you haven't reviewed your choices in a while, find certain aspects of your current Medicare plan confusing, or are considering changing plans - you are more than welcome to attend.
There is no sales pitch. Just honest information given by a local, state licensed agent. Our meetings take place in an informal group setting at a local public venue in your local community.
If you need more information beyond what is covered in our workshop, you’re welcome to request a personalized one-on-one meeting with one of our agents. The primary objective of the seminar is to provide attendees with the most recent and up-to-date information about Medicare.
This educational workshop will provide you with an understanding of Medicare's different parts: A, B, C, and D. It will help you navigate what Original Medicare typically covers, and we will talk about the broader variety of Medicare plan types available, without discussing the specific benefits of individual plans. We will also cover changes in costs and penalties that could affect you in the current year and answer frequently asked questions about Medicare prescription costs and coverage. If you're interested in the benefits of specific plans, you'll need to review each plan's details individually.
Audience participation is encouraged but not at all required. If you’re the type that likes to ask questions in a group setting, we will be happy to answer them for you. If not, you are welcome to just listen and learn.
Our local agents are licensed and regulated by the state Department of Insurance. They are required to stay up to date about the newest changes by passing a national certification exam every single year. In order to pass the exam, they have to get a minimum of 90% of the answers correct!
This workshop is for educational information only with no obligation to enroll. No plan specific benefits will be shared.
